Scripture Studies

St. Anastasia offers a variety of opportunities to study the Bible. Whether you are just beginning or looking for a deeper understanding of scripture, we have multiple groups to meet your needs.

NEW:  A Biblical Walk Through the Mass – starts Feb 1st

Do you ever wish you could “get more” out of Mass? One key for unlocking the mystery of the Mass is Scripture. The climax of salvation history itself is made present sacramentally in the Mass. The more we know about the Biblical roots of the Mass, the more we will come to appreciate the splendor of the liturgy and the more we will be prepared to encounter Jesus and give ourselves to Him at every Mass.

Join in with fellow parishioners and come to know and understand the Mass like never before with (DVD presenter) Dr. Edward Sri, in this 5 week study. Learn why we say what we say and do what we do as Catholics. With freshly awakened eyes of faith, the words and gestures will be seen in a new light, leading to a richer, more fruitful worship experience. This is a small, friendly study – led by parishioner Dan Tardiff.

Dates:  2/1, 2/8, 2/22, 3/8, & 3/22

Where:  PC Room 107/109 at St. Anastasia
