Confessions

The whole power of the sacrament of Penance consists in restoring us to God’s grace and joining us with him in an intimate friendship. Reconciliation with God is thus the purpose and effect of this sacrament.

— The Catechism of the Catholic Church #1468

Opportunities for Confession are on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Church. There will be no Confessions on Tuesday, October 31st (Halloween).

If you need to make an appointment, please call our Parish Office at (248) 689-8380 and leave a message.

For parents seeking First Reconciliation preparation for children in grades 2 through 6, First Reconciliation is coupled with First Eucharist preparation. This is a year-long program that begins in the fall and concludes in the spring. The completion of first grade (or one year of grade level Family Catechesis) is a pre-requisite.

For Grades 7 through 10, please email Maryann in the Religious Education Office or call her at (248) 689-8380, ext. 111,  to make arrangements for Children’s Catechumenate Program class sessions for the child.
