St. Anastasia has the privilege of being a member of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of the Archdiocese of Detroit (CYO Detroit) and follows all rules and regulations set forth and administered by the CYO. Eligible players are either members of St. Anastasia Parish or Catholic youth from other parishes in the area who do not offer CYO sports.

Volunteer Athletic Directors
We are searching for two candidates to share the responsibilities for organizing and leading our Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) program. Currently, we have Girls Volleyball and Girls/Boys Basketball.
Without an Athletic Director, the entire sports program will not be able to continue.
Candidates must be organized, have a flexible schedule (evenings and Saturdays), be able to work with adults and children, and have amazing communication skills. The parish provides clerical support. If you are interested, please email Brian Burgin.
Fall Season
Volleyball for girls in grades 5 – 8
The St. Anastasia Blazers CYO Girls Volleyball teams are active in the fall season. If you will be attending grades 5, 6, 7, or 8 in September, and you are a registered parishioner at St. Anastasia or a nearby parish without a CYO program, please join us for all the thrills and excitement of our instructional/competitive girl’s volleyball program.
CYO required forms* – ALL forms are due at the time of registration.

*If you belong to an adjoining parish of St. Anastasia you will need to fill out the following Form A and Form B as well.
Winter Season
Basketball for girls and boys grades 5-8
St. Anastasia teams, made up of 5th thru 8th grade boys and girls, compete against other parishes in the local Catholic Youth Organization athletic program. Note: * A student may only participate on the St. Anastasia team if he/she is NOT participating in other team s (i.e., middle school team, Joe Dumars, AAU, etc.)
