
The Sacred Heart Holy Hour will include prayers to the Sacred Heart, and time for silent prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The prayer service will lead all present to grow in their love of God and devotion to his Most Sacred Heart.
Join us on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Friday, August 15 after the 9:30 am Mass.
(Please note: There will also be a 7:00 pm Mass for the Holy Day of Obligation, but the Holy Hour is only offered after the 9:30 Mass. The 8:15 am Daily Mass will NOT be offered.)
An icon depicting the most famous image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, painted in 1767 by Pompeo Batoni and now venerated in the Church of the Gesù in Rome, will be displayed.
