Your Gifts Were Given for a Purpose
“You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14
Jesus calls each of us to let His light shine through the way we live, love, and serve.
Everything we have is a gift from God—our time, talents, experiences, abilities, and the unique ways He has shaped our hearts. As beloved children of God, Christian stewardship is our grateful response: recognizing what the Father has given us and offering those gifts back to Him in love and service.
Giving Our Gifts Back to the Father
Serving is more than volunteering. It is part of living as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
When we welcome someone who feels alone, serve a neighbor in need, share our faith with a child or teen, pray for another person, offer our creativity, work behind the scenes, or simply make ourselves available where we are needed, God can use even the smallest acts of service for something greater.
We don’t all have the same gifts—and we aren’t called to serve in the same way.
The question is not simply, “Where do you need help?”
It is, “Father, how are You calling me to use the gifts You have given me?”
Where Is God Calling You?
There are many ways to serve at St. Anastasia.
Perhaps you have a heart for those in need. Maybe you enjoy welcoming people, teaching or sharing your faith, working with your hands, creating, organizing, making music, praying for others, encouraging people, or serving quietly behind the scenes.
You may have a gift you haven’t even thought of as a ministry yet.
Whatever your age, experience, schedule, or season of life, we invite you to prayerfully consider where God may be calling you.

The Spirituality of Stewardship
Stewardship begins with gratitude.
All that we are and all that we have come from God, our loving Father. When we recognize His gifts, nurture them, and generously share them with others, our lives become an offering of thanksgiving.
