Adoration

Adoration

Image - Adoration pageThe Eucharist is the source and summit of the Church’s life and ministry. Because, as Catholics, we believe that Christ is truly and substantially present in the Eucharist, the Blessed Sacrament is given the same adoration and devotion that is accorded to Christ. Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. Each Wednesday following the 9:30 a.m. Mass the Eucharist is exposed in the chapel until 5:00 p.m. Additionally, on the first weekend of each month, the Eucharist is exposed following the Friday morning Mass until Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m.; if the 1st weekend is a holiday weekend, Adoration will be moved to the following weekend

Monthly Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction

Eucharistic Exposition takes place on the first Friday of each month immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Mass.  First Friday prayers will be recited at the start of Exposition.  First Saturday devotions will be offered at 7:30 a.m.  Exposition continues until Benediction at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning.

A sign up board is available in the hallway outside the chapel or you may contact MaryAnn Stoll at 586.558.2996 or by filling out this form .
