Family Love Letter Seminar – March 14, 7pm – 7:45
The seminar walks through something called the Family Love Letter which is a 30 page document that helps a family organize all of their personal information in one place. This includes financial documents, internet passwords, will and trust information, so that in a time of need all family members know where to go to find the information. It also allows for a person or family to write down some of the specific wishes they have to offer guidance in case something were to happen.
The main focus of the seminar is to talk about the importance of having will and power of attorney documents in place. This could be for an elderly individual being cared for by children or for a young family that needs to have a guardian designation for their children.
