The sacrament of Baptism for infants and children under the age of 7 is offered on the second, third, and fourth Sundays of each month at 1:45 p.m. Beginning in January 2016 the schedule for baptisms will change. Baptisms will take place on the second weekend of each month (except during Lent and Advent) at either the 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday or the 12:15 Mass on Sunday. Also, the fourth Sunday of each month at 1:45 pm will accommodate any additional baptisms.

A preparation class is required if you have not taken one within the past 5 years or taken a class at St. Anastasia. The class is offered on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and may be completed prior to the birth of your child. Email Holly Michelcavage or call (248) 689-8380, ext. 109.

For baptisms of children in Grades 1 through 8, please call Maryann in the Religious Education Office at extension 111 or email Maryann to make arrangements for the Children’s Catechumenate Program. This program will vary depending on the age and faith development of the child.
