Fr. Eric Fedewa
Fr. Eric was born in 1982 and grew up in Shelby Twp., MI. He is the youngest of the four children that William and Agnes Fedewa were given by God. He attended St. Lawrence grade school in Utica from first to eighth grade and graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory High School in 2000. Fr. Fedewa then attended Oakland University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. It was during the last month of college that he experienced a re-conversion; a few months later he felt a strong call to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Father entered Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Fall of 2005, received a Bachelor in Philosophy in 2007, and recently graduated with a Master’s in Divinity as well as an STB (Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology, the Vatican equivalent of a Master’s degree) awarded through the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy. Fr. Fedewa looks forward to serving the People of God at St. Anastasia!
As we welcome Fr. Eric to our parish in the next couple weeks, be sure to join in the “fare-wells” for Fr. Mark!
After each of the weekend Masses on June 25 and 26, we will have a reception in honor of Fr. Mark and the time he has spent ministering to us and with us at St. Anastasia. Come join us as we wish him well!
