American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is a Christian based scouting organization for girls aged 5-18. St. Anastasia has chartered a new troop of American Heritage Girls, troop MI 0138. The troop will be holding meetings on the first and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:00—7:30 p.m., starting in October. The American Heritage Girls (AHG) troup MI 0138 officially kicked off its first year in October. The troop had an incredible response with over 50 girls registering. AHG is a Christian scouting program for girls. In addition to working to earn traditional scouting badges, the girls participate in a wide variety of service projects that serve God and the community. The girls have already been working hard at service in collaboration with the many events at Faith@Work Bookstore. They have also collected cans with Cub Scout Pack 7 for Operation Can Do and have been spotted praying peacefully in front of an abortion center during 40 Days For Life. The girls meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of most months at St. Anastasia. We are looking forward to a great year! For more information contact Debbie DeSantis at debbied@wowway.com.
