A Blessing and Farewell
As the often quoted words from Scripture remind us, “There is an appointed time
for everything…” The time has now arrived for my “leave taking”
from St. Anastasia. This time next week I will be in my new home. Boxes have been packed, shelves cleaned and change of address given to the post office. These things have been taken care of rather easily.
What is not easy is saying good-bye to wonderful people, a faith-filled community and a parish that speaks hope, demonstrates
care and lives love in so many ways.
I take you with me in heart and prayer, knowing that I am so much richer because of
our shared faith and ministry. In this special year of 40th anniversary, and
beyond, may you continue “...to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)
