Greetings to everyone here at St. Anastasia. My name is Fr. Mark Prill and I am your new associate pastor.
I would like to take this time to introduce myself and to share a brief biography about myself. I was born on Dec. 14,
1980 and was raised in Lapeer, Michigan, the great white north of the arch-diocese!! Growing up I attended Immaculate Conception
Church. My parents, who still live in Lapeer, had six children. There are three boys and three girls and I am number five
of the six children and the baby boy. I also have two nieces and three nephews. In the fall of 1999, after I completed high
school, I started seminary. While in seminary I received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2003 and a Masters in Divinity
this past April. I was ordained a priest on May 10, 2008. I am looking forward to getting to know you all of you and
worshipping God with you. Be assured that all of you will be in my prayers as I am sure I am in your prayers as I start my
ministry as a priest with all of you. You may have noticed that I have no title for my bulletin article. I am opening up to
the parish as a whole the challenge of coming up with a name for my bulletin article. Please drop possible titles into the
collection or bring it to the administrative offices. Please write my name on an envelope and make sure to write your name
along with the bulletin article title and place the piece of paper inside and envelope. Feel free to use my name in any way
and feel free to be creative. Also make sure to write your name down so I can give credit to the winning person in a future
bulletin article. These are due by July 21st at noon. Feel free to come into the offices a pick up one of my prayer cards
from my ordination this past May. May God bless you. Fr. Mark Prill
