FR. JJ'S CHALLENGE
In his homily of June 22, Fr. JJ challenged us all to be "unabashedly Catholic." His message is worth repeating:
COME TO MASS ON SUNDAY, and enter into it with all your heart: Sing, pray, think, watch what's
going on. MASS - WHERE WE ENCOUNTER GOD IN THE FLESH - IS EXCITING!
DON'T BE AFRAID! Stand up for
what we believe as Catholics.
PRAY ALWAYS: for relatives and friends, with your spouse and children,
at restaurants. FAITH IS NOT PRIVATE!
STRIVE TO LIVE LIVES OF INTEGRITY, STRENGTH AND HOLINESS.
DON'T
BE SHY ABOUT YOUR FAITH. Talk about it wherever you go. If
you're looking for a way to be unabashedly Catholic, praying and working alongside others of like mind, drop in on a Legion
of Mary meeting and put your beliefs into action. We meet Tuesday mornings at 10:15 am in Meeting Room B. If you work during
