Attention Everyone! The “ Live Free! Conference” is coming to St. Anastasia on July 29th for one day only.  Doors open at 7:30 am – Conference runs from 8:30 am – 8:30 pm!

The event is an Archdiocese of Detroit event – and open to everyone.

St. Anastasia will be providing (among other things) the ‘hospitality’ for this event!  That means, we will be responsible for greeting people, making them feel welcome and serving them a very light continental breakfast, boxed lunches, and a catered dinner!

We will NOT be cooking anything.   Everything will be simple, grab and go things that are coming already made.   We are simply putting things out on the tables, beverages, and simple clean-up (like wiping down tables).

Lots and lots of hands will be needed – all day – to make this a success!  Volunteers are encouraged to and will still be able to attend the Conference!

This particular sign up is for the hospitality portion of the Conference only.

If you are available to help with hospitality during any part of the day – please, sign up online or contact by email Brenda Kozlowski  or call 248-689-8380 ext. 103.

The sign up has GENERAL time frames needed.  YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN ONE TIME SLOT!

If you don’t see your particular time availability listed – please contact Brenda and let her know what times you are available.

ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS SIGN UP – is the day before!   Friday, July 28th, help is needed during the day to help set up the various areas.

All volunteers MUST register BOTH for the Conference on eventbrite (below) AND if you’re volunteering with ‘hospitality’ – sign up (or contact Brenda) with the area you are volunteering for. Again, this particular sign up is for the ‘hospitality’ portion only.

And, finally, if you are planning on helping with hospitality- there is a non-mandatory (but highly encouraged) planning meeting planned for the Sunday prior – July 23rd – from 11:30-4:30 in the Davidson Center (a free lunch is included).  This meeting will help everyone get a really good feel for what the event is and what the needs of the day will be.  All are welcome to attend.   Please RSVP to Brenda or Regina so we know how much food to order!

Information about registration and the Conference itself is here:

Live Free! Conference  …   What’s this, you ask? Unbound means freedom and this conference is all about the freedom to be the person God created you to be. To live your life the way you were meant to, to be free to know your Father and have total freedom to belong to His family. Know without a doubt that you ARE His beloved child!

The day is not only educational, but also spiritually hands on. During key points, you will have the chance to respond in personal prayer and reflection; or, you may come forward for prayer ministry with experienced Unbound prayer leaders. For one day you will have the chance to learn about unbound prayer, living free, and being who God truly intended you to be.

Please register at www.livefree17.eventbrite.com.

If you are interested in learning more about Unbound Ministries, go to HeartoftheFather.

Any questions on hospitality – please email Brenda Kozlowski  or 248-689-8380 ext. 103.

Prayer of Welcome

Lord, our God, source of all life,
you reveal yourself in the depths of our being
drawing us to share in your life and love.
Bless each of us as we respond to your Spirit’s
invitation to open wide the doors to Christ.
Make the doors of our hearts,
our homes and communities
wide enough to receive
all who need human love and fellowship,
narrow enough to shut out all envy,
prejudice and pride.
Let us hasten to welcome the stranger,
and so welcome your Son.
We make this prayer in his name,
Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.

May God bless you abundantly for your service to His beloved children!
