Garden of Giving

If you have a backyard garden, you probably have an abundance of produce. Once you have shared with your family and neighbors, if you still have an abundance left, we can help you share it with others in need, at Lighthouse in Pontiac and seniors on very low income in Troy.

Simply bring your unwashed, fresh produce to St. Anastasia (4571 John R) on Sundays or Tuesdays. You may drop it off outside, just in the front of the Pastoral Center doors.  There will be containers and a garden fence to indicate the drop off area from August 1 – Sept 15th.

There are many hungry people, not very far away. You can make a difference just by sharing of yourself and your gifts.

“Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And the king will say to them in reply, Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:37, 40)
