Teens have been created in the image of Jesus Christ and ‘when they know who they are and to whom they belong, they will set the world ablaze.’ – Pope John Paul II

The St. Anastasia Confirmation/Cross-Training program for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, is a place for teens to learn more about Jesus Christ and His Church in a safe and supportive environment.

Today’s teens are faced with difficult choices. The choices they make at home, at school, with friends and on the internet will shape who they become.

St. Anastasia’s Cross-Training program will prepare our teens to make the right choices. They will be taught the truths of the Catholic Church that have been handed down from the apostles, and they will learn that what happened over 2000 years ago IS relevant for them today.

They way we teach our teens will make their knowledge not only head knowledge: “Know all the sacraments,” but also heart knowledge: “I am a fan of Jesus and I want to share my faith and enthusiasm with others.”

The goal of the Cross-Training program is to lead teens to God the Father through a knowledge of their faith and a love of Christ and His Church. Once they know their faith, they will live their faith and share their faith!

This goal requires a team effort; teens need the love, involvement and modeling of parents, catechists, and St. Anastasia staff.

God Bless you and yours,
Regina Simony
