This is the 11th Annual Easter Egg Drop! The night before Easter Sunday, volunteers quietly cover the lawns of unknowing families with dozens and dozens of stuffed eggs. It is a big surprise for both the kids and parents Easter morning. Last year we surprised 34 families & 4 shelters/group homes that, due to a family illness, loss of a loved one, or special circumstance, were referred to us.
Our goal this year is to collect at least 8,000 stuffed plastic eggs!
Please consider stuffing a dozen or two.
Fun stuffing ideas include: coins, candy, tattoos, small toys, Chuckie Cheese tokens or stickers. There does not need to be much in each egg, the kids will be getting dozens of them. Remember to pack each egg with a prayer for the child that will be opening it up.
Last year’s Egg Drop collected over 10,000 eggs in cooperation with many local parishes and schools. Dozens of volunteers covered the lawns of 34 local families
and 4 shelters/group homes.
Please have the eggs to us by Wednesday, April 16th.
Contact us if you know of a family who could use an Easter surprise!
Eggs can be dropped off at Faith @ Work, 1977 E. Wattles in Troy
