The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is encouraging Catholics to call their U.S. Senators and share our concerns with the latest attack on religious liberty—S. 2578—the “Protect Women’s Health From Corporate Interference Act of 2014”.
In a letter to the Senate, the USCCB outlined the objections to the bill and concluded by writing: “the bill does not befit a nation committed to religious liberty. Indeed, if it were to pass, it would call that commitment into question… We oppose the bill and urge you to reject it.”
