Life in the Spirit

Join us for a Life in the Spirit seminar!

What is it? We have received the Holy Spirit in Baptism and Confirmation. The Life in the Spirit series is an opportunity to see our life’s journey in the Holy Spirit. We come to know more fully who the Holy Spirit is and how we need to surrender ourselves to Him and allow Him to guide and define our lives so we can live the life we have been called to live and be the person God created us to be.

When is it? Tuesdays for Six weeks (April 29th, May 6th, May 13th, May 20th May 27th and June 3rd) from 7:00 pm to approx. 9:00pm

Where is it? St. Anastasia Church in the Davidson Center

Who should attend? Anyone who wants a deeper walk with Jesus. Anyone who is searching for a deeper understanding of the love of God and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. This is also a good time of renewal for those who have previously completed a Life in the Spirit Seminar.

Nudged By God

“It might reasonably be maintained that the true object of all human life is play. Earth is a task garden; heaven is a playground. To be at last in such secure innocence that one can juggle with the universe and the stars, to be so good that one can treat everything as a joke – that may be, perhaps, the real end and final holiday of human souls.”

- G.K. Chesterton

My prayer for you is that you take time to rest and rejuvenate and ask the Lord to give you the strength for what He will be calling you to do and what He will be calling you to participate in this new year. There are many programs and ministries of St. Anastasia’s Adult Faith Formation which are in full swing. From the various scripture studies to the Alpha Course, C2C Discipleship program, from RCIA to the Evangelization committee, from F3, the Young Adult group, to those discerning vocations, St. Anastasia offers many opportunities to explore. Adults are attending, searching for God and filling the void. We even have a Guadalupano Group for Spanish speaking parishioners that meets Monday mornings for fellowship and service. If you’re looking for a way to connect and grow in your faith, please call me! We do have groups meeting throughout the year.

No matter where you are on your journey of faith, there is always more treasure to find. We invite you to discover the possibilities here at St. Anastasia. Always loved. Always welcomed.
