Cursillo – Detroit

Nudged By God

My prayer for you is that you take time to rest and rejuvenate and ask the Lord to give you the strength for what He will be calling you to do and what He will be calling you to participate in this new year. There are many programs and ministries of St. Anastasia’s Adult Faith Formation which are in full swing. From the various scripture studies to the Alpha Course, C2C Discipleship program, from RCIA to the Evangelization committee, from F3, the Young Adult group, to those discerning vocations, St. Anastasia offers many opportunities to explore. Adults are attending, searching for God and filling the void. We even have a Guadalupano Group for Spanish speaking parishioners that meets Monday mornings for fellowship and service. If you’re looking for a way to connect and grow in your faith, please call me! We do have groups meeting throughout the year.

No matter where you are on your journey of faith, there is always more treasure to find. We invite you to discover the possibilities here at St. Anastasia. Always loved. Always welcomed.

Catholicism is an entire way of life.

We might be familiar with different aspects of the Catholic faith. But how does it all fit together? An what difference does it make for our lives? Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained opens up the “big picture” of the Catholic faith in a way that helps us know it, live it and articulate it to others.

Come on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM, beginning July 9th and learn the faith. The class will be $20.00 per person, which will include materials. It will run 10 weeks, ending on September 10th. You don’t have to attend each class, as they do not build on each other. Each video is approximately 35 minutes and we will have small group discussion after.

Catholic Biblical School of Michigan

Embark on a Journey

Study Sacred Scripture… Understand the significance of God’s Word in your life!

This fall the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan (CBSM) continues with this exciting Scripture study at multiple locations (including St. Anastasia!) in our Archdiocese. Based on the curriculum of the immensely successful Denver Catholic Biblical School, this remarkable program offers an opportunity to read and study the entire Bible over the course of four years. Under the guidance of trained, inspired instructors – all have at least a Master’s Degree – participants study the Bible systematically with the help of lectures, small-group discussions, weekly coursework, and an annual day-long retreat. Archbishop Allen Vigneron supports this important endeavor and the CBSM courses are available for academic credit through Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Whether you have been a long-time student of the Scriptures or are a beginner, these classes will help you discover the timelessness of God’s Word and transform your life!

Course of study:
